BIBLICAL EGYPT HIGHLIGHTS ITINERARY

Step into the world of ancient Egypt on a focused seven-day journey through Cairo, Giza, the great pyramid fields, and the biblical land of Goshen.

From standing beneath the Great Pyramid to seeing the faces of Egypt’s ancient kings and walking among the ruins of the Nile Delta, each day is designed to connect Egypt’s remarkable archaeology with the history and geography of the Bible.

Day 1: Across the Atlantic to Egypt
Today, tour members gather at their respective airports for the flight to Cairo. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey as we make our way toward the land of the pharaohs and the world of biblical Egypt.

Day 2: Arrival in Cairo
Ahlan! Welcome to Egypt. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, we’ll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to our Cairo hotel. After check-in, we’ll enjoy dinner and relax overnight, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 3: Meet, Greet & Mummies
After breakfast, we’ll gather in the hotel conference room for a special meet-and-greet and teaching session as we begin exploring the world of biblical Egyptology together. We’ll discuss the chronology and history of ancient Egypt, important figures and pharaohs, and the biblical framework for the sites we’ll encounter throughout the journey.

Later, we’ll visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization to see its remarkable collection and come face-to-face with the royal mummies of ancient Egypt. As time permits, we’ll also explore historic Coptic Cairo and its important Christian heritage.

Day 4: The GEM, Great Pyramid & Guardian of Giza
Today we’ll experience some of the most famous monuments and treasures in Egypt. Our day begins at the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to an extraordinary collection spanning thousands of years of Egyptian history.

Later, we’ll travel to the legendary Giza Plateau and stand before the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. We’ll explore the pyramid complex and visit the famous Great Sphinx while discussing the archaeology, engineering, history, geology, and biblical setting of ancient Egypt.

Day 5: Pharaohs, Foundations & First Pyramids
Today we’ll travel south of Cairo to explore some of Egypt’s earliest monumental royal sites.

At Saqqara, we’ll visit the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of the earliest large-scale stone monuments in Egypt and a major milestone in ancient architecture.

We’ll then continue to Dahshur, home to the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid. Together these sites allow us to trace the development of pyramid construction leading toward the monumental achievements at Giza.

Day 6: The Biblical Land of Goshen
Today we’ll leave Cairo and journey into the eastern Nile Delta—the region associated with the biblical land of Goshen.

We’ll visit Tanis, where fallen obelisks, colossal statues, temple remains, and royal monuments provide a remarkable glimpse into the world of ancient northern Egypt.

Throughout the day, we’ll discuss the geography of the eastern Delta, the Israelites’ presence in Egypt, and the historical setting surrounding the Exodus. Few visitors to Egypt ever venture into this region, making the chance to explore the land of Goshen one of the most memorable experiences of the tour.

Day 7: Farewells & Flights Home
After breakfast, we’ll transfer to Cairo International Airport for our return flights home. As our journey comes to an end, we leave Egypt with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the history, archaeology, geography, and biblical world we’ve experienced together.
